Angelo Bonello (b. 1971) is an Italian artist whose practice explores spatial perception, movement, and the transformation of landscape through performance, installation, and large-scale public spectacle. His artistic approach is grounded in the manipulation of scenic space and dimensional distortion, often blurring boundaries between visual art, architecture, and live performance. Bonello was introduced to art at an early age and received formative training in painting and sculpture under the guidance of the impressionist artist Sergio Manfredi.

In 1998, Bonello co-founded Kitonb with Alberta Nunziante, initially conceived as an experimental theatre company focused on aerial dance and performance. Over time, Kitonb evolved into an interdisciplinary production platform specializing in site-responsive works and large-scale artistic events. Bonello has conceived and directed more than 150 projects presented in over 300 cities worldwide, working across urban environments and public spaces. His practice emphasizes the relationship between body, space, and environment, creating immersive experiences that reframe how audiences engage with place, movement, and collective presence.
