361° offers a poetic abstraction of an embrace or kiss, realized in Rose Gold granite and stainless steel. The sculpture’s form references the ouroboros (the snake eating its own tail), but intentionally ruptures the closed loop. By extending beyond the full circle of 360 degrees to reach 361 degrees, the artist symbolizes the breaking of repetitive cycles—birth, death, rebirth—and the desire to initiate a new world. This additional degree represents liberation and the potential for action outside predetermined structures. Designed to be interactive, the sculpture functions as urban furniture, inviting the public to sit, rest, and converse within its curve. It transforms the artwork from a static object into an active social space. 361° creates a “romantic” intervention in the city, using the language of geometry to foster human connection and signify the beginning of new possibilities.
