Zahra Rahimi’s sculpture is a study in contrasts, merging the organic with the industrial. Focusing on the relationship between the natural world and the fast-paced modern environment, she uses stone to represent ancient, grounded roots and metal to symbolize contemporary speed and tension. Her practice is driven by observing landscapes and organic flows, which she translates into abstract forms that feel both grounded and moving. Rahimi has participated in numerous international symposiums and festivals, honing her ability to work with diverse materials. Her philosophy centers on the idea that nature is a source of constant regeneration, while modern life is defined by technology. By combining these elements, she creates a “dialogue” where stone appears to flow and metal softens, capturing the inner rhythms of human existence and the intersection of history with the future.
